Paper submission and Deadline

In order to submit your paper you need to register on the EFA 2016 Event management platform ConfTool and submit your paper.

The deadline for Paper submissions is Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. (13:00 hrs) CET. Please note that NO extensions will be permitted after the deadline has passed. Up until the submission deadline, you can update your contribution details, upload new versions of the manuscript, or withdraw the contribution. The last uploaded version at the time of submission deadline will be considered for review, unless the contribution is withdrawn.

 

Renewal/Register for EFA Membership fee

 

There is no submission fee to submit a paper. However, submitting authors are asked to register or renew to the European Finance Association. The EFA annual Membership fee is EUR 60 per calendar year- including VAT/GST and a personal print & online subscription to the association's journal Review of Finance.

Registration on the 2016 Event Managment Platform ConfTool

 
The submitting author will be asked to register on our  EFA 2016 event management platform ConfTool, by giving his/her personal information, contact details, and setting his/her personal account information.

Please note that each EFA Annual Meeting has a separate database. Therefore, you must create a new account on our system. You may however use the same username/password as you had on previous EFA site if you wish.

Remember to use the same email address that you use for your  renewal or start up of EFA 2016 membership.

 

Submission of a Paper -  Main Conference

 

To submit a contribution, authors must follow three steps:

Step One – Track choice

Select the track you are submitting to from the given list at Tracks and Topics at ConfTool

 

Step Two – Paper information

Information about the authors and the contribution:

  • Author(s) and email(s)
  • Organization
  • Title of contribution
  • Abstract
  • Choose topic(s) from a given list at ConfTool
  • Keywords

 

Step Three- Upload files

The contribution can be uploaded on ConfTool. Please note that authors can upload new versions up until the final deadline.

Submitting authors will be asked to upload two documents in .pdf format.

  • Anonymous paper: the first page should include the title and the abstract but no references to the authors.
  • Complete paper: this version should include the author(s) information.

Please note that the maximum file size is 10 megabytes.

 

 

Submission of Papers - Doctoral Tutorial

You will follow the same steps. However your Step Three is different.

 

Step One – Track choice

Select the track the "Doctoral Tutorial" track at ConfTool. In the subsequent submission form you can choose the appropiate topics for your contribution.

 

Step Two – contribution information

Information about the authors and the contribution:

  • Author(s) and email(s)
  • Organization
  • Title of contribution
  • Abstract
  • Choose topic(s) from a given list at ConfTool
  • Keywords
  • Select if paper is submitted to Doctoral Tutorial

 

Step Three- Upload files

The contribution can be uploaded on ConfTool. Please note that authors can upload new versions up until the final deadline.

Submitting authors will be asked to upload three documents in .pdf format:

  • Anonymous paper: the first page should include the title and the abstract but no references to the authors.
  • Student CV
  • Letter from Advisor on official institution letterhead

Please note that the maximum file size is 10 megabytes.
